Sailing-experience
Ed (1947) has been working most of his life in the nautical environment before he and Carla bought their first boat together, a Huisman 41. In the eighties he managed and runned charter bases and had been active chartering like bareboat- as well flotilla sailing in Greece, Spain, the Seychelles and the Maldives.
In Holland, they have sailed many local races and Business Cups. The IJmuiden-Lissabon Race in 1998 and the Swan Cup in 2000 in Sardinia were very spectacular.
In the Carib: Tobago Race Week, Antiqua Race Week and Heinekenregattas
In Asia: in 2005 the Royal Langkawi International Regatta and the Rada Muda Selangor International Regatta, in 2006 the RLIR, the RMSIR, the Phuket Race Week and the King’s Cup.
After 7 years we did finish our world circumnavigation in Palma de Mallorca,and where we started it in 2000.
